Shredding
Continuous guillotine
Type: WGA/WGAD
The continuous guillotines from WIPA were developed to shred fibers and textiles. Films, fleece or non-woven can also be processed.
Continuous guillotine
Material feed
The material can be fed to the guillotine manually or using special feeding devices. Various feeding systems are available for different materials like voluminous bales such as fiber bales and ropes.
The process
The material is carried onto the feed belt either manually or by an upstream feeding device. It is then directed to a pressure device that compresses the material and forwards it to the knives. The knife mechanism, consisting of one movable and one stationary blade, performs a precise scissor cut, ensuring a clean cutting edge.
