Efficient recycling processes for
a sustainable future

Modern recycling technologies enable the efficient reuse of recyclable materials and reduce environmental pollution.
Three key processes play a decisive role in this:

Dry mechanical cleaning:
Removes impurities from plastics using mechanical processes such as air separation and friction cleaning – completely without water.

Recycling of beverage cartons:
Separates paper fibers, plastics and aluminum to make all components usable again.

Chemical recycling:
Converts non-mechanically recyclable plastics into raw materials for new products using chemical processes.
These processes make a significant contribution to resource conservation and the circular economy.

Dry mechanical cleaning

Dry mechanical cleaning is an essential step in plastics processing and is supported by various machines from WIPA Germany. This process enables the removal of impurities, dust and light foreign matter from plastic waste – without the use of water.

Beverage cartons

Beverage cartons consist of a composite structure made of cardboard, plastic and aluminum. WIPA Germany offers customized solutions to efficiently separate these materials and make them usable for recycling.

A high level of material purity is achieved, which means that both the paper fibers and the plastic and aluminum components can be reused.

Chemical
recycling

In chemical recycling, plastics are returned to their basic chemical building blocks in order to produce new raw materials. WIPA Germany supplies key machines for upstream processes such as shredding, cleaning and material preparation.
